A successful organisation in the creative technologies industry was becoming the victim of its own success and the senior management team were finding it increasingly difficult to manage their workloads on a day to day basis. The business had grown to the point where to continue to grow and be successful they needed to recruit specialists in a field and strengthen the management team reporting to them.
Not wishing to use a recruitment agency, Vital HR was approached to assist with this recruitment initially for a Marketing manager and a Project manager.
Vital HR prepared the copy write for the advert, liaised with the appropriate publications, negotiated good rates, placed the advert and managed the responses. After the closing date we reviewed all of the applications received and due to our knowledge of the organisation and the vacancies were able to prepare a short list for review.
The relevant managers would review the applicants and the recommendations and agree a process for selection. This could involve psychometric testing on line prior to an interview, preparation and delivery of a presentation at interview, role specific tests or simply a structured interview. Vital HR would prepare the regrets, organise the interviews and when required analyse the psychometric tests, prepare the structured interview questions or attend as support to the interviewing team.
This client is now comfortable that we understand what they are looking for in applicants and therefore trust Vital HR to short list applicants and advice on the best routes to attract and select applicants.
